one. A Model Life with Petra Nemcova
With both ANTM and CNTM done with, I have got to get my fix. Lately I have been obsessing over AML. Perhaps because it is around the same basis as ANTM, except nobody gets kicked off, and it's not centred around drama. It's about 6 girls, who are given the chance to go to NY and take some pictures, meet some people, and get expirence and guidance (from Petra of course). It should be noted that I do not like Beatrice at all, and that I thought Angelika was a b!tch until a few episodes in (considering it was edited that she wanted a seperate room, and thought the girls were immature). A close second was Britain's Next Top Model, but i am still a bit upset that Abby didn't win in season 2.
two. J. Crew printed ballet flats
Oh the colours! Oh the prints! For $118, I'll pick up a few.
It's the perfect summers almost over, I'll enjoy it while I still can and pick up this lovely buttercup yellow dress. $118.40

five. the Christian Louboutin miminette patent wedges
They are patent (I love love love patent leather), and they have a small wedge. Perhaps just about the perfect shoe for back to school. Hello! No switching into a more comfortable flat, as the small wedge is a lot easier to walk around in all day than heels. Also, more practical. $590

ooo love the shoes you picked! small wedges really are ideal- a bit of extra height, but not a gargantuan dangerous uncomfortable heel. and these are patent! awesome! and what can i say, j crew just makes the cutest flats ever :)
ooh that jill stuart dress is adorable! and the missoni coat. and the shoes. I have to say I enjoy ANTM much more than britains next top model, especially since the host is lisa snowdon who hasn't done anything particularly special with her life other than go out with george clooney. But the drama is sooo much better than ANTM's

patent leather is pretty, but to me, the same effect can be achieved with manmade materials (without the cruelty). Love the jill stuart dress though ;)

Britains Next Top Model is so disappointing compared to some of the other modeling programmes around, as they never pick anyone with true catwalk model potential, only catalogue types, who even then, still aren't that great! Thats why at the end of Series 2 the finalists weren't that great and it was more of a case of who shouldn't win rather than who should.
