I saw the collection on style.com, and I loved it at first glance. You always do make gorgeous clothes, and your runway shows emphasize the appeal. One piece that I was over joyed with was the above red dress. It looked like an oversized sweater, typical of course in your designs. Surely, model Maryna can't be the only one to pull it off? Perhaps I too could make it work?

Now here it is from Neiman Marcus. A complete disappointment if I do say so myself. Sans the runway lighting, the colour looks dingy and dull, and it was in this photo that I first noticed the funny elbows. Stella, I wish it could have turned out better. The good news is I saved myself hefty credit card bill. The bad news? I now know only Maryna can pull it off.

p.p.s, while I was browsing, I found something similar, but much MUCH better than the red sweater dress. An oversized red sweater! Look! The funny elbows are much less noticeable when scrunched, and it's a suitable length and it even looks good on the mannequin! For $1195, I'll put it on my Christmas wishlist. Brava!

p.p.p.s, I'm hoping for F/W 2008, you can create a great red dress, sans the padded elbows, but in your usual mini dress style in a sweater material. I'm crossing my fingers.
